Before Comics was been a great treasure and its crazed like online gaming like now . I 'm one of the fanatic Comics Kid who imagine things based from the comics I'd read. One of the best of them is "Funny Comics" , I've remember before it was cost like 5Php and their publication was every Friday or Sunday. Usually when we went to attend Sunday Mass, I used to scape from my parents and go to comics store and if I have penny I immediately buy it , unfortunately most of the time I don't have cause 5php is too much for me to save :) , unless I cry for it and my parents get annoyed .

I keep buying that comics and if I can't buy it, I borrow if from my friends, and off course for a fee sometimes and if they're generous enough they gave it for free rent. One of my friend actually got his own Mini Comics Rental, before it's very famous to have comics rental where you rent per comics for 0.50Php for a day or anytime you're finished . Comics was been a part of daily life for adult and kids cause before few people can afford to have their own TV or Radio and the only past time they could have is to read Comics.
My favorite series was
Combatron, Ninja Kid, SuperDog and some of them I can't hardly remember. I remember me and my friends used to create our own comics based from that Combatron series. Hail to this guy "Berlin Manalaysay" creator of Combatron, you made our childHood complete. This one of my inspiration to be an Artist... though it didn't fulfill but it went somehow related to my dream for what I became right now. The only reason I didn't fulfill to become Comics Artist it's because it was expensive for us. Actually some of my drawings are still in my treasure box , sometimes I've check it out and revitalizing my memorize of my childHood and my frustration of becoming a Comics Artist.
I don't know if Funny Comics is still around, but I heard they have changed their name . I'm also disappointed that I'd lost my collection after we have renovated our home. Can't get over after I've collected boxes of them they've just dumped like that .. (tear drops!) .
Check the website I've found for the list of their editions , though it would been better if there's an online site that would have vintage Filipino Comics (..blinking idea...!). Hmmm... not bad really though.http://komiklopedia.wordpress.com/2007/12/27/gallery-pilipino-funny-komiks/
